This was recorded to tide UK fans over between 12 Tales and Balletesque. You can tell that we were relishing experimenting with sounds in the studio for the first times and we got out of hand a few times... This was right after Matt, Kat and MJ left the group and I think Nate plays drums on most of it, or it was percussion by committee with a hired hand playing on "Idiot Grin" and "A Rebel Never Turns Back Around." I really, really enjoy listening to Bob's "Free" again. That arrangement, which was one of the last things the Berklee version of the YR did is really cool.
