Miss Holiday Spirit wrote me to say I needed to write a Christmas song for us to record this year when we were both back in Nashville. When I sat down to write this song, I was very sad because of the CT school shooting, so this is not the typical holiday saccharine I am admittedly quite fond of writing this time of year. Dedicated to everyone, especially the kids at Sandy Hook.
